B I O G R A P H YCaptain Larry Miniard
Captain Larry Miniard has been fishing the offshore and inshore waters of North Florida since 1960 and has been a U.S. Coast Guard licensed charter captain since the early 1970's. He specializes in fly fishing and light tackle fishing in the inland waters of North Florida.
Capt. Miniard represented the Orvis Fly Company as an endorsed guide from 1993 to 1998. Currently he represents Daiwa Fishing Tackle, Mercury Marine, Proline Boats and RipTide Fishing Lures.
Larry is on the Board of Directors for the Ranger/Mercury Inshore Tournament Trail and is a founding member of the North Florida Triple Challenge Tournaments. Captain Miniard has been a Guest Speaker at seminars for Saltwater Magazine and Sport Fishing Magazine as well as many local fishing clubs. There have been many articles written about Captain Larry Miniard in national as well as local publications.
